The stress is building up as finals are quickly approaching. Students are starting to feel worried and are experiencing a lot of anxiety. There are many tips on how to de-stress for finals, but her are some of the most valuable.

Take a 20 minute nap:

Students tend to stay up very late. Humans are supposed to 7-8 hours of sleep each night to be fully rested, but that is not the case for many high school/college students.

Some stay up until two in the morning, sometimes even later. Due to all the homework, studying, and projects the brain is working over time. A little rest during your studying helps students to feel refreshed. It is important to set an alarm, so it does not end in a four hour nap, making one feel as if they have woken up in the next day.

Exercise:

Exercise for at least one hour a day is very important to a students well-being. Exercise helps release endorphins that increases concentration and reduce the amount of fatigue in someone. Exercise does not only help eliminate stress and take one’s mind off of school work, but it also is good for one’s health. It is a great break idea when studying for finals.

Take a shower/bath:

Hot water and steam helps release tension and stiff muscles caused by stress. By taking a shower or bath it helps release tiredness, anxiety, and many other body/mental illnesses. It is a easy and quick solution to de-stress for finals.

Finals is coming quick, but there are many ways to help cope with the stress and anxiety.
