Kings Krew Cards are a new, innovative way to show school spirit and to attend school games. At any Kings Krew event during the fall season. there will be a spirit station where students can get their cards stamped. The selected home games are listed below:
10/11 @ 3:15 pm Girls tennis vs Dana Hills
10/19 @ 7 pm Football vs Northwood (Homecoming game)
10/24 @ 5:15 pm Girls volleyball vs Woodbridge (senior night)
10/25 @ 3:15 pm Boys Water Polo vs Beckman
10/27 @ 7 pm Football vs Irvine (senior night)
10/ 27 @ 7 pm Fall Vocal concert (in the big gym)
11/3 @ 7pm Cdm Musical, The Curious Savage
Once a student reaches five stamps, they are rewarded by a complimentary bagel breakfast from ASB on November 6th at 8:15 AM in the ASB room. When one reaches ten stamps, they receive a special edition Kings Krew T-shirt.
ASB’s spirit council consists of juniors Caden Strauss and Sophia Newton, senior Shae Burger and freshman Zach Kittleson. They plan all the kings krew cards, organize glitter, tattoos and face paint at the spirit booth at the games, and make festive posters. They also pump up balloons, use the cryo jets, and call the chants at the games.
Strauss and Newton believe that “We can definitely win most spirited school by next year. Now that we are in a new league with more competitive teams we will be far more excited for the games.”
Newton thinks that with the new system,”student participation will definitely increase our school spirit”. She added “it is a great way to come together as a community in the future.”
Make sure to come to the Kings Krew games! Most of them will be on the CdM turf, and if not, they will be on the Davidson Field. If a student lost their Kings Krew Card, they can receive a card in the ASB room.
