Even in death, Heath Ledger has managed to, yet again, amaze the world with his looks, charisma, and amazing acting.

Health Ledger died of an accidental prescription medication overdose in 2008, living behind a legacy of greatness. Playing the role of The Joker in the The Dark Knight (2008), the infamous womanizer Casanova in Casanova (2005), and Gabriel Martin in The Patriot (2000), Ledger captured the hearts of Americans and dominated the entertainment industry.

Ledger won an Oscar posthumous for Best Actor in The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight set the box office record for single-day sales, topping $18.5 million in the movies’ opening night showing and escalated to $66.4 million on it’s first day. Including $40 million in international sales, The Dark Knight had exceeded $185 million by its first weekend.

Although Ledger died in 2008, his legend lives on. Heath Ledger will star in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, an upcoming movie that will soon be released.

This is Ledger’s last film and it will no doubt be a hit. Senior Nicolette Keligian said, “It’s going to be an amazing film – especially with Heath Ledger!”
