Sometimes—well, most times—students find it difficult—well, impossible—to pull themselves out of bed in the morning and sleepily choose an outfit for the day. However, December 6, they didn’t have to. Unanimously a favorite day for all students, it was Pajama Day!
Though the beloved “nap time” sadly remains in kindergarten, teenagers are known to love their sleep. While incorporating a “nap time” in the high school schedule would be supreme, the next best thing is Pajama Day. Not only does one have a longer time to sleep without the time-consuming morning routine of putting together an outfit, but also students get to flaunt their favorite pajamas.
Thankful students showed up at school in their coziest footsie pajamas, sweatpants, and slippers. Almost everyone participated in the theme, and those who did appreciated it.
“I never realized how much time it takes me to get dressed in the morning. I got almost twenty more minutes of sleep today and feel refreshed!” exclaimed freshman Shea O Hill.
It is probably agreed by most students that the school should have Pajama Day more often—well, always?
